Overview

HFC & HFSC cables are foam PE insulated coaxial antenna feeders for almost all RF radio communication system as described below. HFC & HFSC cables utilize a closed-cell, polyethylene foamdielectric with very low signal loss. The foam is manufactured using a state-of-the art of gas injection technique, HFC & HFSC cables combine excellent electrical characteristics such as low attenuation, high velocity and small reflection factor.
LG HFC cables have annular corrugations on the outer conductor which provide excellent flexibility for repeated bending, and prevent water penetration.
The HFSC cables utilize a deeper helical corrugation on the outer conductor which permits a small bending radius and repeated bends. The HFC & HFSC cable feature abrasion resistant black polyethylene outer jackets, which are halogen-free and non-corrosive.
If required, HFC & HFSC cables can be supplied with jackets which have higher fire retardant and low-smoke, if accidents occur.

Jacket Option

HFC & HFSC Series Cables with the standard jacket meet the following requirements
- IEC 754-1 Halogen acid gas content (Chlorium < 0.5%)
- IEC 754-2 Degree of acidity of gas ( PH-Value > 4.0, Conductivity < 100 /cm)

HFC & HFSC Series Cables with the Fire-retardant jacket meet the following requirements
- IEC 754-1 Halogen acid gas content (Chlorium < 0.5%)
- IEC 754-2 Degree of acidity of gas ( PH-Value > 4.0, Conductivity < 100 /cm)
- IEC 332-3C Flammability test on cable bundles
- IEEE383 Flammability test on cable bundles
- IEC 332-1 Flammability test on single cable
- ASTM E 662 Optical density of smoke ( Smoke-density < 150)
