Loose Tube core-jelly Filled Self Supported Cable

LG lightguide cables will provide excellent transmission performance and protection of the fibers in a variety of field environments. These aerial optical cables are designed for circumstances where underground cables would be unsuitable or less economical than aerial cables.

APPLICATIONS

* When the terrain is unsuitable for underground cable
* Where a permanent underground cable cannot be satisfactorily established
* Where short term provision for growth is necessary
* Where additional circuits are required on aerial routes which are heavily loaded

CABLE CORE PROTECTION Plastic tapes. This protection can be replaced by aramid yarn layer
MOISTURE BARRIER (Metallic type only) One laminated aluminum tape longitudinally
FILLER Thermoplastic cylinder which can replace a tube in the cable strand
MESSENGER Stranded galvanized steel wires or Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP)
OUTER SHEATH Black polyethylene on Ў°eightЎ± shaped including the cable core and the messenger
