“Gazprom” is a strategic partner for “Electrocable” factory

On June 16th in Gus-Khrustalny an exit conference of JSC “Gazprom” took place. The conference was about an organization of the development of import substitution in the interests of oil and gas branch. Governor of Vladimir region Svetlana Orlova, JSC “Gazprom” delegation headed by Chairman of board of Directors of the company Victor Zubkov, a number of affiliate companies of “Gazprom”, a special representative of the President of the RF in questions of international collaboration in the field of power engineering, Chairman of board of Directors of OJSC “Rusnets” Sergey Shmatko, assistant of the Minister of industry and trade of Russia Andrey Dutov, members of the Federation Soviet, deputies of State Duma, heads of large Russian enterprises, including Vladimir one, took part in the conference. “Electrocable” factory represented its working outs in the field of import substitution for oil and gas industry at an improvised exhibition of industrial potential of Vladimir region.

Director of JSC “Electrocable” Kolchuginskiy factory” Aleksey Prokhorov told about new products which the factory offers nowadays:

-For the last year specialists of the holding have worked out more than 200 brands of import substituted cables and wires, the largest part of which can be used for needs of Gazprom. These are cables for pumps, cables for medium voltage with current-conducting thread of sectoral shape and optical fiber cables. But these are a small part of products that we can offer. The holding has considerable potential in the face of Research and Development Institute and due to that there is an opportunity to elaborate products for concrete aims and tasks of customers.

“Gazprom” is a strategic partner for the 33rd region: together with Vladimir region the work of installation of gas, production and delivery of equipment and materials for the oil and gas complex, conversion of transport onto gas-engine fuel, carrying out of research and development works and preparation of highly qualified staff have been carried out.

Enterprises of the region provide deliveries of industrial products for needs of the company, the total sum of which is 3 billion rubles a year. «Electrocable” has delivered cable products for building South torrent gas-pipe, construction of north deposits and also for running repairs of gas-transport system as a whole 500 million rubles. While representing opportunities of the Holding, Aleksey Prokhorov emphasized that the Holding cable alliance is ready to satisfy 90 % of needs of companies that are members of JSC “Gazprom”.

While speaking at a working conference, Viktor Zubkov emphasized that Vladimir region has modern, efficient manufacture and research basis. A lot of local working outs have attracted close attention of “Gazprom” as they will be able to substitute imported analogues. Among such products there are universal control cables of trade mark “NICKA” and cables onto medium voltage with ethylene propylene rubber insulation.

The Administration of the region and JSC “Gazprom” have formed a Road map of the broadening  project of the use of high-tech import substituted products of regional companies in the interests of the company. Governor Svetlana Orlova and Chairman of Board of JSC “Gazprom” Aleksey Miller signed this document at Petersburg Economic Forum on June 19th.
