Innovative technologies at the forum Rugrids-Electro

In the multimedia press-center “Rossiya Segodnya” a press conference took place. It was devoted to the International electric power forum Rugrids-Electro, which will take place on 20th- 23rd October in “Expotsentr” in Moscow and will be supported by the Ministry of power engineering of the RF and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia. Representatives of the portal RusCable.Ru, which is the main sectoral internet partner of the forum, took part in the event.

Among the speakers were:

- the first deputy general director of PJSC “Rosseti” Roman Berdnikov;

- president of the company Schneider Electric in Russia and CIS countries Jean-Louis Stasi;

- vise-president of the Fund “Skolkovo” Nickolay Grachyov;

- deputy general director of CJSC “Expotsentr” Michail Tolkachev;

- deputy general director on marketing and sale of “Tavrida Elektrik” Vladislav Vorotnitskiy;

- head of the service “Yandex. Taxi” Tigran Khudaverdyan.

Mr. Berdnikov said that within the bounds of the forum Rugrids-Electro new technologies and suggestions of customers are taken into consideration. At the forum this is not only a question of demonstration. “There will be all the main engineers of our companies, all the general directors. They are looking for interesting solutions not just to look at them, but to use them after the exhibition”, Mr. Berdnikov added.

At the forum a zone of innovations will be organized and an innovative register is being formed. A competition “Energoproryiv” is going on again and the solutions of the last year winner are being inculcated in “Rosseti”. Winners will be chosen at the forum. They will also be the innovative register. “Rosseti” is going to spend 2% of its investment program on innovations and companies from this register will be the first in the list of consideration. Mr. Gorbachyov said that for the support of finalists the winners of the last year forum and mentors will take part in the forum this year: “It will show what a long way start-up can pass with the help of such large sectoral partners as “Rosseti” and “Skolkovo”.

At the forum there will be a large zone devoted to electric cars and charging stations for them. By 2018 PJSC “Rosseti” is going to install 1000 charging stations in Russia. According to the words of Mr. Khudaverdyan, “Yandex. Taxi” bought 2 electric cars Tesla about 2 months ago and it is quite satisfied with the results. For instance, economy on fuel is about 60000 rubles. You can call the electric cat Tesla in Moscow by using a promocode YandexTesla while ordering.

On the whole, for popularization of electric cars different methods are taken into consideration. Non-profit are among them, too. “Drive on special lines. Today the department of transport doesn't support this idea, but I think that in such cities as Moscow, St Petersburg and others, where there are restrictions, it can stimulate buying of an electric car”, Berdnikov said.

Mr. Vorotnitskiy told about an agreement of “Tavrida Elektrik” and “MOESK”. This is a project on creation of intellectual power engineering and by the way it is not the first one for the company with “Rosseti”. “The first stage of a scale project has been finishing in Kaliningrad. Here we are creating  a digital RES for the first time. In 2016 this project will be finished. And the direction, about which it is said in the agreement with “MOESK”, is an elaboration of normative documents in the intellectual power engineering and also an elaboration of a number of technical solutions to increase reliability of electric power supply of city grids of Moscow energy system”, Mr. Vorotnitskiy said. And the intellectual power engineering is necessary to “improve efficiency of work of grid infrastructure radically”.

That is why problems of the creation of intellectual grids are on the agenda of the national technological initiative, which began on the instructions of the President of the RF in December 2014. And now road maps EnergyNet are being worked out.

While answering the questions of a journalist of RusCable.Ru, Mr. Vorotnitskiy lifted veil of secrecy above the exposition and said that within the bounds of the exposition EnergyNet a number of concepts and active models of elements of distributed generation would be presented. “Among these concepts are solar panels, that have been worked out by Russian companies, and a number of storage devices”, Mr. Vorotnitskiy said. “I'm sure, that the technologies, which are represented at Rugrids this year or at least some part of them, will have been represented at the market by 2020. And as for storage devices, these are the solutions that on a global level can be competitive”, Mr. Grachyov added.

“Of course, we need new equipment, but the equipment must be reliable. That's why within the bounds of the forum we are representing our Federal test center. This project has already gotten a status of a strategic partner in St Petersburg. For the RF it is a unique project, as there haven't been a  center where you can test in full a line of equipment”, Mr. Berdnikov said.

Mr. Stasi shared his seeing of the intellectual power engineering: “This is transformation of energy into information”. But power engineering must be ecological and safe as much as it is possible. “I'm sure, that power engineering is becoming clever. And it is the future we are creating”, Mr. Stasi added.

He also emphasized that Schneider Electric worked as the Russian company in Russia and joining of IT and power engineering was a strategic priority of the company.

“This year the exposition of the forum is formed on three main directions: producers of equipment, engineering and electric equipment and special expositions”, Mr. Tolkachev said.

Organizers of Rugrids-Electro, PJSC “Rosseti” and CJSC “Expotsentr”, promise participation of 5 thousand of representatives of interregional distributive grid and generating companies, sectoral unions and associations, federal and regional legislative and executive authorities, scientific organizations, producers of electric equipment.
