ASI has held a working meeting on the process of formation of the Russian professional community cable operators

On September 11, 2014 in the Strategic Initiatives Agency a meeting on the topic of formation new all-Russian public organization "Russian Professional Community Cable Guy" was held (RPSK). Participation in the working meeting was taken by the head of the media holding "RusKabel" Alexander Gusev, Deputy Director and Ph.D. Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Lisitsyn, coordinator of the professional community of workers Viktor Polivaev, as well as manufacturers and PPC experts of thr section "Cable Industry" Advisory Council under the Chairman of the Energy Committee, State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The meeting discussed the development trend of the industry societies in Russia. Victor Polivaev shared the experience in creating such a community of welders:

"The purpose of our community has been designated as the development of the profession, human resources and technology of the Russian welding industry to overcome technological backwardness of international standards."

Cables, as well as welding technology is used in a large number of industries, representing the leading and an integral part of many industrial processes. Therefore, the development of domestic cable – is a general and rather a global task. But the development of any industry is not possible in the absence of qualified professionals. Therefore RPSK focused on bringing people solely on the basis of their professionalism, experience and direct involvement in the cable industry. Such structuring will create the preconditions for the protection of common interests, will allow to influence the development of the domestic cable industry in terms of improving the safety and quality of cable products, as well as to develop professional standards, which subsequently lead to the promotion of the profession.

"But the main problem created by any of the professional community - is the realization of specific projects. Only in this way it is possible to gain recognition, increase awareness, to earn the respect "- Viktor Polivaev said.

Thus, the meeting came to the conclusion that RPSK become the first organization in the electrical industry, which will take over the performances of the goals and objectives that have not previously been implemented. This is a very important step in the development of specific sub cable, and in the electrical segment as a whole.
