A new cable plant has been opened in Chuvashia

In October 21st a festive ceremony of the opening of the Japanese plant “Fujikura Automative Rus Cheboksary” for the production of banded cables for cars of the Volkswagen concern happened in Cheboksary.

As Chuvashian authorities said, more than 260 million rubles were invested in the project. During the period of realization of a pilot stage of the project up to 400 working places are going to be created. Today 125 people work at the enterprise, many of them have studied in the European offices of the investor company. The enterprise is specialized on the output of multicore cables for cars.

Founder of LLC “Fujikura Automative Rus Cheboksary” of the Japanese company Fujikura Automative Europe Ichiro Kamada emphasized that the company had explored different regions of Russia for three years before deciding with the place for the enterprise of multicore cables for cars.

“It was very important for us to find a comfortable building for the enterprise, we considered different variants and decided that Chuvashia had a good organization and qualification. These arguments allowed us to decide on placing investments in Chuvashia”, a representative of the Japanese side said (IA REGNUM).

“Chuvashia is an open region with a powerful staff potential, comfortable conditions for business and opening of hi-tech productions”, head of the republic Michael Ignatyev said at the meeting with the representatives from the Japanese side.

The plant was built after a corresponding agreement of the representatives of the Republic of Chuvashia and “Fujikura Automative Rus Cheboksary”, which was signed in December 2014.
