A new measuring device for producers of cable products

The American Yield Management Corporation (YMC) has worked out a new product that is of great interest for cable producers.

This device measures the length of a cable in single and double twist beam machines very exactly. The measuring device works according to the principle of counting of an optical method and scaling of rotation of a traction device or an angle sheave after twisting of an item. The result is an exactly measured length with considering an amendment on twisting. The measured device can be easily wired, it is very convenient in use and does not require any contact rings. Extra functions: a counter with set value, which stops the machine when it reaches the set amount of ready products and on the display you can see time left.

The YMC is specialized in working out and production of subsidiary devices which allow to reduce wastes, to improve quality and increase productivity of cable technological equipment. The line of such products includes devices of detection of tape breaks and cable damages, detectors of the end of materials on bobbins of braiding machines and also spare devices for braiding machines.
