Andrew Murov has sent a greeting for the participants of the round-table conference “Import substitution: borders of power safety”

Chairman of the board of FGC UES Andrew Murov sent a greeting letter for the all participants of the round-table conference “Import substitution: borders of power safety”, which took place on December 2nd within the bounds of the exhibition “Electric grids of Russia-2015”.

“I hope that the round-table conference will serve as an extra instrument for the reconciliation of positions of the Energy Industry companies, authorities, producers, social organizations and other interested sides, for the working out of perspective directions of realization of the policy of import substitution.”

In his speech Mr. Murov emphasized that “the Federal Grid Company, as one of the largest  consumers of high-voltage electrotechnical equipment at the Russian market, carries out active policy, directed to the stimulation of the development of domestic producers, import substitution and inculcation of innovative technologies into the production of electrotechnical products.”

It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the topic of import substitution in today's economic and political situation. The FGC UES broadens the collaboration with producers by helping to appear their products at the foreign markets, participates in national and research and experimental design works, inculcates their products in the experimental-industrial maintenance.

“The experience in realizationof the policy of import substitution, accumulated during all these years by us, shows that for the achievement of the complex development of the industry we need harmonious system work on all the levels beginning with the federal authorities to separate companies”, drew his attention Mr. Murov.
